Section 7.7 - Non-Potable Water Systems

7.7.1 - Connection

       7.7.1.1 - Non-Potable Connection

       (1) A non-potable water system shall not be connected to a potable water system.

Registration Process

1. Complete and submit Sandpoint Well Registration Form
2. Arrange inspection fee payment. See permit fee information below. 
3. Once payment is received, the Town of Saugeen Shores will perform a cross-connection inspection. This ensures the well is not connected to municipal water services. Please allow 10 business days for the inspection to be completed. 
4. Once the inspection has been approved, a "lawn water watered by sandpoint" sign will be left beside the sandpoint pump. 

Sketch Requirements

A digital sketch is required to be submitted with the sandpoint well registration form. Please plot the house, street, and location of the sandpoint well. This ensures that our inspector can locate the sandpoint to complete the inspection. 

Permit Fees

$41.27 Inspection Fee

Sandpoint well registrations will not be processed until the appropriate fee has been submitted. Payment is accepted online only. Once the first page of the registration form is completed, you will be automatically prompted to proceed with payment.
